D. Bernard Webster is a distinguished innovation engineer and entrepreneurship thought leader possessing more than 20 years of professional cross-industry experience. Webster is well known for generating practical solutions and facilitated professional learning across sectors, including but not limited to higher educationsmall businessmediamobile computing, and manufacturing. Throughout his career, Webster has been fascinated with emergent technologies and trends and has leveraged his sustained inquiry to generate tangible performance results on behalf of a variety of stakeholders. To date, Webster has raised more than $8.5 million in public and private funds to help startups and community-based organizations alike transform their operations through technology in order drive accelerated growth and innovation.

With technical expertise in new media designsoftware developmentventure building and go-to-market strategy, Webster has a robust understanding of the technology development life cycle and multiple pathways to commercialization. As such, he has been a trusted advisor to more than 20,000 small business entrepreneurs and startup founders throughout the tristate area since 2009. During this time, he has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality, effective technology solutions that impact the way users work, earn, live, and learn. Webster is likewise a skilled communicator, able to effectively distill complex technical subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.

D. Bernard Webster is current Adjunct Faculty and Executive Director at the New York Institute of Technology’s Center for Entrepreneurship at the School of Management.
