Peer Review Process for conference submissions

Centre for Business & Economic Research (CBER), UK maintains high academic standards for all conference publications. All full conference papers undergo a rigorous double-blind external peer review process prior to acceptance and publication in conference proceedings.

Step 1: Initial screening: Each full paper is reviewed by the Conference Chair or Review Committee to ensure alignment with conference themes, submission guidelines, and ethical standards.
Step 2: Double-Blind external peer review: Eligible submissions are sent to at least two independent external reviewers under a double-blind process. Reviewer and author identities remain confidential.
Step 3: Review criteria: Papers are evaluated based on originality, relevance to conference themes, methodological rigor, contribution to the field, clarity, academic quality, and potential to stimulate scholarly discussion.
Step 4: Reviewer recommendations: Reviewers recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection. Feedback is communicated to authors.
Step 5: Revision and final decision: Authors revise papers as required. Final acceptance decisions are made by the Conference Chair in consultation with the Review Committee.
Step 6: Conference publication: Only accepted papers are included in the conference programme and official proceedings.
