Nia Rock is a seasoned impact finance, social investment and community and economic development professional, innovating strategies that promote enhanced corporate responsibility and engagement through Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Fair and Inclusive banking initiatives for shared stakeholder value. Ms Rock currently serves as Vice President and Community Development Outreach Officer with BankUnited, promoting lending, investment, and community development services within the Bank’s footprint.

Nia holds an AB in Economics and an MBA in Sustainability from Bard College and serves in various board and advisory roles, including with the American Bankers Association ESG Working Group, the School of Business at Medgar Evers College (CUNY), Change Capital Fund Donor Advisors, Long Island Racial Equity Donor Collaborative, City Start-up Labs, Inc., and other community and economic development organizations serving the New York metro area.
