Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, FRSA is Director General of KIIT Deemed to be University and a distinguished academic leader, behavioural scientist, author, and institution builder with over three decades of experience in higher education. Holding a Doctorate in Human Resource Development from the University of Delhi, she is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK) and the Somatic Inkblot Society (USA). She has held several leadership positions, including Vice Chancellor of IILM University and President & Vice Chancellor of SPSU, Udaipur. Dr. Banerjee is widely recognised for her contributions to curriculum innovation, leadership development, and skill-based education. She serves on editorial boards of reputed journals and has authored several books, including The Power of Positivity. Creator of the Optimism Index and LEAPS Wellbeing Scale, she is also the founder of the Triarup Foundation, promoting women’s empowerment, social inclusion, and sustainable development aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
