CBERProfessor Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam

Professor Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka is a renowned educator in the field of Finance and Banking. He has been in the field of education for more than last two decades. During this period, Professor Shibli has played an active role in many Business, Chamber, and Research related to Finance and Banking field at home and abroad. He is the author of the Finance and Banking text book for the secondary students published by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board of Bangladesh. Also, he has written a book titled E-Banking and E-Commerce. Professor Shibli has more than 15 research publications in his field and he accomplished 5 international research paper presentations abroad. His field of specialization is Law and Practice of Banking, Retail and E-Banking, Foreign Exchange and International Banking, Corporate Governance, and Legal Aspects of Business.

Recently he has been nominated as a ‘Guest Professor’ at Sichuan University at Chengdu in China till 2021. In academic performance he has all through first class and he also has research degree, diploma and training in the field of Finance and Banking from UK, Australia and Korea.
